Sep 11, 2003Anna Lindh didn't make it. She died at 5:29 am; the announcement was made half an hour ago. Other posts about the murder of Anna Lindh.We watched the press conference at work. People teared up. One sentiment expressed: What kind of country is this becoming? Well, the answer is: A good country. Maybe that's why she was targeted.

The world suffers a great sorrow because of Anna Lindhs death. She was a very good polician and was on her way to become an even better. It's a huge loss for Sweden and Europe. Anna Lindh was the example of a good socialdemocrat. We miss her...

It's now almost a year ago since Anna Lindh was stabbed to death. As a Swede it is still painful to think about the terrible day that September 11 2003 was, when Anna died. It's hard to understand.

On a personal level I'm very sorry for her two kids... but in a political level I can't hide that Europe is undeniably better without her.
