Here are the details you need for your stay in Sechery.

What to bring:
--A towel.
--Hiking boots, warm sweaters.
--If you have a sleeping bag and it's not to much of a hassle, please bring it.

How to get to Sechery by car: (see map)
From Brussels:
--Get on the E411 highway to Luxembourg.
--Get off at exit 24; turn right onto the N40.
--At the crossroads called "Barriere de Transinne," go straight.
--After a few kilometers, you'll see a sign for a turnoff to the village of Redu on your left. Ignore it.
--About 500 meters later, you'll see a sign for a turnoff to the village of Daverdisse on your left. Take this road and follow the signs to Daverdisse.
--You will drive into Sechery. The house is number 134, and is on an uphill road on your right immediately after you turn right at a T-junction in the direction of Daverdisse. (If you can't find it, show a local the picture on the right--they will know the house).

From Luxembourg:
--Get on the E411 highway to Brussels.
--Get off at exit 24; turn left onto the N40.
--follow the same instructions as for Brussels.

How to get to Sechery by train:
From Brussels:
--Take the train to Luxembourg from any of the three main Brussels train stations (Midi/Zuid, Centrale/Centraal, Nord/Noord). the train leaves once per hour--at 36 minutes past the hour from Midi, 40 past the hour from Centrale, and 45 past the hour from Nord. Belgian Railways site
(If you are at Brussels airport, there is a train that takes you from the airport to Nord/Noord--it leaves about every 20 minutes and takes about 20 minutes).
--Get off about 2 hours later at Libramont station.
--Call me in Sechery. I'll pick you up about 20 minutes later.
--If I'm not there, take the L61 bus outside the station to Redu. Unfortunately, busses only run on weekdays, at 9:50 am, 12:48 pm, 4:33 pm, and 6:50 pm. the trip takes about an hour. In Redu, call me, or ask for directions to Sechery--it's a 15 minute walk away. Local Public Transportation website

From Luxembourg:
--Take the train to Brussels from the main Luxembourg train station (I guess--I've never really been there). The train leaves every hour at 21 minutes past the hour.
--Get off about 1 hour later at Libramont station.
--Follow the same instructions as for Brussels.

Accommodation:
For those of you who have opted to stay in a hotel in Redu or nearby, here is the page with hotel phone numbers and such. La Gourmandine is recommended.
